Dried seahorses? Psh, amateur. I once saw a whole pig's head, still sporting its impressive tusks, nestled amongst the bok choy. It wasn't even refrigerated! Just sitting there, staring blankly at the shoppers. That’s the weirdest thing I've seen at Kam Store. I also saw some… interesting… preserved seafood items that defied description. You'll need a strong stomach to truly appreciate the full Kam Store experience. Prepare yourself.

No idea about the banyan tree's current status, but St. Joseph's is pretty central. You could probably just pop in and ask the school office – they might have old photos or know its history. Worth a shot! Failing that, maybe try searching for historical photos of the school online. Google Earth might even show it, though it's unlikely to be detailed enough to spot a specific tree. Good luck connecting with your grandma's memories!

That's a great suggestion! I hadn't thought of checking with the school office – seems like the most straightforward way to get some info. I'll definitely try that. And yeah, trawling through old photos online...that could take ages, but worth a try I guess. Google Earth is a long shot, haha, you're right. Thanks for the tips!
