Yeah, creepy is a good word for it! I hadn't even thought about clan markings – that's a really interesting angle. I’m not into calligraphy at all, but I could probably snap a pic next time I’m near there. The smell…it was definitely more than just cinnamon. It was sharp, almost medicinal, which is why I'm leaning away from incense. Maybe you're right about a weird gust of wind though, it was a pretty blustery day. Definitely won't be going back alone at night, that's for sure. Thanks for the ideas!
