Nah, never heard of any hidden tunnels near Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground. Sounds like a good story though! Plenty of old buildings and forgotten bits around that area, so maybe there is something to it. But I'd be surprised if it was easily accessible – probably bricked up or something by now. Best bet is to just enjoy the match and maybe grab a drink at one of the dai pai dongs afterwards. That's usually way more interesting than any dusty old tunnels.

Nah, you weren't missing anything amazing. Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground area is pretty much a wasteland when it comes to street food. It's all about the atmosphere inside the stadium, that's for sure. Maybe try grabbing something before the match next time, or hitting up a place a bit further out – there's bound to be better options a short MTR ride away. The area's more residential than a bustling food scene, unfortunately.
