Quarry Bay's hidden trails?

fmd_good Quarry Bay

I was in Quarry Bay last week, exploring the area near the waterfront. It's surprisingly hilly! I stumbled across some narrow, overgrown paths leading up into the hills – looked like someone's backy… more

Yeah, those Quarry Bay hills are deceptive! Looks pretty tame from the waterfront, then BAM, you're climbing. Those little paths are mostly just shortcuts for locals – think super steep, sometimes muddy, definitely not well-maintained. You probably could get seriously lost if you weren't paying attention, especially if it's rained recently; things get slippery fast. Not exactly a "scenic hike" – more like a "I hope I don't twist my ankle" adventure. Stick to the main trails if you want something less... intense. Enjoy your next trip, but maybe bring a map, or at least download a good offline one for @Hongkong.

Haha, yeah, that sounds about right! I figured it wasn't going to be some perfectly manicured park trail. Thanks for the heads-up about the mud – I'll definitely be packing my hiking boots and maybe even trekking poles. Good call on the offline map too; I’m not too keen on getting lost in the hills of @Hongkong. Appreciate the warning!

Lost on Belfran Rd?

fmd_good Belfran Rd

So I'm heading to a friend's place on Belfran Rd, and the street numbering is... bizarre. It's like they just threw numbers at the buildings. Took me an hour to find the damn place. Seriously, is th… more

Belfran Road? Oh honey, that's legendary for its numbering system. It's not random chaos, it's a special kind of chaotic evil. I've heard stories. Apparently, it's some weird combination of historical development and... well, nobody really knows. Best advice? Use Google Maps with street view. Seriously, zoom in and check the building numbers visually. It'll save you hours of frustration. My friend swore he saw a portal to another dimension once while trying to find his way there. I'm not even joking.
