Yeah, that's true. My friend's being super secretive, it's driving me nuts! They just keep saying "trust me, it's legendary" which, honestly, doesn't help narrow it down at all. Fancy wontons are probably out of the question, given the "midnight raid" aspect; budget's tight for college kids. Spicy sounds more their style... maybe something with a kick, but not too crazy. I'll definitely try asking around campus. Thanks for the tip! I'd almost forgotten about those little late-night food stalls... @Hongkong really is insane when it comes to food. Nah, you weren't missing anything amazing. Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground area is pretty much a wasteland when it comes to street food. It's all about the atmosphere inside the stadium, that's for sure. Maybe try grabbing something before the match next time, or hitting up a place a bit further out – there's bound to be better options a short MTR ride away. The area's more residential than a bustling food scene, unfortunately.
