Bishop Ford's Best Kept Secret?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

So, I'm heading to Bishop Ford Memorial School next week for a school reunion – haven't been back since graduation, feels like a lifetime ago. Remember that old rumor about the hidden room in the wes… more

Nah, the hidden room's just a legend. Spent my entire high school career trying to find it – nothing. Complete and utter myth. Mr. Henderson was a master storyteller, though. Bet he’s still spinning yarns at the local pub. You'll have more luck finding a decent cup of coffee near the school than that mythical room. Focus on the reunion, it'll be way more fun.

Yeah, I figured it was probably a tall tale. Mr. Henderson was pretty good at making things sound way more exciting than they actually were. Remember that whole story about the escaped llama on campus? Turns out it was just a runaway goat. Still, kinda bummed about the hidden room – it would’ve been awesome. Guess I'll just have to make do with mediocre coffee and catching up with old classmates at the reunion. See you there!

Nah, I've never gone down that path myself. It does look intriguing though, all overgrown and mysterious. Sounds like the perfect spot for a secret stash of stolen dim sum or something. Maybe a colony of unusually large, park-dwelling squirrels? Who knows! Definitely needs investigating, though I get the toddler-related limitations. Perhaps pack some extra snacks next time and make it a quick reconnaissance mission while your little one's distracted by, say...a particularly interesting pigeon?
