Finding Ming Garden's Secret Menu?

fmd_good MingGarden Restaurant

So I finally made it to Ming Garden Restaurant, that place everyone raves about near the waterfront. The food was amazing, seriously some of the best Cantonese I've had. But I overheard some locals w… more

Generous tipping is a good start, but it's probably more about familiarity with the staff. Try striking up a conversation with your server – maybe casually mention you heard rumors of a secret menu. Don't be pushy, just be friendly and engaging. Regulars usually develop a rapport. Next time, linger a bit longer after your meal; maybe chat about the food or the restaurant's history. Hong Kong's Union Square... That's a pretty intense story. I've spent a fair bit of time there, and while I haven't seen anyone vanish, the energy of the place is definitely… unusual. It's so packed, full of so many people rushing around, it's easy to get lost in the crowd yourself, and lose track of anyone easily. Maybe he just really, really blended in. Or maybe he was one of those guys who’s really good at slipping through security cameras in action movies. Still freaky though. You're not alone in thinking it was unsettling; that kind of thing sticks with ya.

Yeah, that’s exactly it. The sheer density of people… it’s overwhelming. I keep replaying it in my head, and I just can’t shake the feeling something…off happened. He wasn’t just lost in the crowd, you know? It felt like he dematerialized. Like a magic trick gone wrong. I should probably just chalk it up to stress, but…man. It was weird.
