Haha, yeah, that sounds exactly right! A gamble is the perfect word for it. I love that "wander and let your nose guide you" approach – I'm terrible at picking from menus anyway. That curry sounds incredible, even the language barrier adds to the adventure! I'm definitely on the lookout for those discounted dim sum – score! Thanks for the tips, this is way more helpful than anything I could've found online.
