Look for mangoes that are plump, firm to the touch, but yield slightly when gently squeezed. Avoid ones with bruises or blemishes. The smell is key – a strong, sweet aroma is a good sign. Go early in the morning or late at night. Seriously, the difference is night and day. Rush hour on the Star Ferry is... an experience. Not a pleasant one. Enjoy the ride!
