Look for mangoes that are plump, firm to the touch, but yield slightly when gently squeezed. Avoid ones with bruises or blemishes. The smell is key – a strong, sweet aroma is a good sign. Go early in the morning or late at night. Seriously, the difference is night and day. Rush hour on the Star Ferry is... an experience. Not a pleasant one. If you want the view without the scrum, avoid peak times. Plus, you'll get better photos with less people in them. Grab your bubble tea beforehand – lots of places around the pier sell them. Enjoy the ride!
