Try the Hong Kong Public Libraries website. They often have digitized archives of local historical societies and newspapers. You might even find some old photos! Failing that, the University of Hong Kong library's special collections could be worth checking out – they're usually pretty comprehensive on local history. Good luck with your digging!

Hung Hom Ferry Riddle

fmd_good Hung Hom

From Whampoa Garden, the easiest way to Hung Hom Ferry Pier is probably via taxi or a short bus ride. The views are pretty good from most of the Star Ferry crossing, honestly. You'll get some great skyline shots no matter which pier you depart from – Tsim Sha Tsui or Central. Sunset's always a winner, though. For the best light hitting the buildings, maybe aim for a slightly earlier time than you think you need. The golden hour is short! Hung Hom's itself isn't a massive place, so don't stress about getting lost. Just use Google Maps and you'll be fine. Enjoy your trip!
