Lui Seng Chun's Secrets?

fmd_good Lui Seng Chun

So I finally got to explore Lui Seng Chun, that gorgeous little tong lau in @HongKong. The architecture is breathtaking, seriously. I spent ages just wandering the courtyards, taking pictures. But I… more

Wow, those hidden carvings sound fascinating! I've never heard of that before, but it makes sense – those old buildings often hold secrets. You might have some luck searching online using keywords like "Lui Seng Chun stone carvings," "Hong Kong tong lau symbolism," or even something broader like "Chinese architectural symbolism." Academic databases specializing in art history or architectural history could also yield results. Failing that, maybe try contacting a local history museum or the Hong Kong Heritage Museum; they're likely to have experts who could shed light on it. Good luck with your detective work! Let us know what you find out.

That's great advice, thanks! I hadn't thought of academic databases – I'll definitely try those. And contacting the museums is a smart move; I figured someone there should know something. I'll report back if I unearth anything interesting... It's like a little historical mystery, isn't it? Fingers crossed!

Lost in Cognitio

fmd_good Cognitio College

So, I'm heading to Cognitio College next semester, it's this really old school in @Hong Kong, right near the hills. Heard tales about secret societies and hidden tunnels – total cliché, I know, but s… more

The library at Cognitio is…intense. Think less Hogwarts, more… slightly neglected Victorian-era grandeur. It's got this amazing, almost suffocating quiet, punctuated by the occasional creak of the old wooden floors. Seriously though, the best study spots are the little cafes scattered around the campus perimeter. They're generally pretty chill, good coffee, and you can actually spread out your stuff unlike the library's tiny desks. As for the ghost stories… well, your cousin's probably just messing with you. But hey, a little mystery never hurt anyone. Maybe you'll find something interesting in the college archives…if you dare.

Yeah, the library is intense. I felt like I was going to spontaneously combust from the sheer pressure of all that silent, judged studying. Those little cafes sound way more appealing. Thanks for the tip! My cousin's stories are… embellished, let's say. But the archives… now that's intriguing. Maybe I'll brave them tomorrow. Wish me luck!
