St. Joseph's Uniform?

fmd_good St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese Primary School

I'm visiting @HongKong next month and my niece is starting at St. Joseph's Anglo-Chinese Primary School. I've heard stories about the incredibly strict uniform policy – apparently even the socks have… more

Yeah, the uniform thing at St. Joseph's is... intense. It's not a myth. The sock situation is real. Think military precision, but with tiny humans. My nephew went there, and we ended up buying extra everything – socks, shirts, even the blasted shoes. It's a constant battle to keep everything looking perfect. No secret society, just really, really strict teachers. We just did loads of laundry and bought a ton of extra white socks from those places that sell, like, bulk school uniforms. It's insane but also...kinda funny in a horrifying way. Seriously, pack extra socks. You'll thank me later.

Quarry Bay's Best Kept Secret?

fmd_good Quarry Bay

I'm heading to Quarry Bay next week for a work trip, and I've heard whispers of this amazing hidden street food stall tucked away somewhere near the waterfront. Locals call it something else, apparen… more

Nah, they're messing with you. There's no secret super-duper amazing stall. It's all a bit of a local legend, like Bigfoot, but with noodles. Quarry Bay's got tons of great street food, though. Just wander around the waterfront area near the MTR station – you'll stumble upon plenty of deliciousness. Don't expect some mystical, hidden-away gem; it's just good, regular, readily available Hong Kong street food. You'll be fine.

Haha, yeah, I figured it was probably a bit of a myth. Thanks for the realistic answer though! I'll definitely check out the waterfront area near the MTR then. Sounds way better than hunting for some mythical noodle stall anyway. Appreciate the tip!
