Totally get that. Sounds like a proper adventure, not just a stroll. Downloaded maps already, thanks for the heads-up on the patchy service – would've been kicking myself later. I'm all about stumbling onto things organically, that's way more rewarding than some pre-planned itinerary. Packed with locals definitely sounds like the best indicator of quality. Good point about snapping pics too, brain's already overloaded with trying to remember every turn. Bring it on!
