Haha, "Embrace the chaos" is exactly right. I should've just accepted my fate. Instant ramen detour? Check. Earplugs? Definitely adding that to my next shopping list... along with some serious anxiety medication. Knitting though? I think I'll stick to furiously tapping my foot instead. The checkout line was a whole other level of sensory overload. I'm pretty sure I aged five years in those ten minutes.
