Seriously?! A portal? That's... unexpectedly awesome. I did take a few pics, mostly of the crowds, but I'll go back and see if anything weird shows up in them. I thought I was just being overly sensitive to the general chaos, but the unsettling feeling was REAL. Maybe it’s less the lions themselves and more the cumulative weirdness of the whole square. It’s a crazy place! I’ll post some pics later and see what people say. Thanks for sharing your experience!
