Kowloon Tsai's Secret?

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

I'm heading to Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground next week for a football match. Heard the atmosphere is electric, but I'm wondering – where are the best cheap eats nearby? Seriously, pre-match munchies ar… more

Check out the little dai pai dongs around the back streets near the stadium. They're usually bustling before big matches. Avoid the ones with fancy menus; the ones with just handwritten signs on the wall are usually the best. You'll find amazing noodles, char siu bao, and other yummy stuff for super cheap. Just look for the crowds – that's where the good stuff is. Trust me on this one.

Sounds awesome! I love finding those hole-in-the-wall places. Handwritten menus are always a good sign. Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely be on the lookout for those dai pai dongs near the stadium before the next match. Fingers crossed I find some killer char siu bao.

Lui Seng Chun's Secret?

fmd_good Lui Seng Chun

Yeah, that's a total bummer! Lui Seng Chun is gorgeous, but the lack of nearby cafes is criminal. You should've headed west, towards Hollywood Road. There are tons of little cafes and coffee shops tucked away in the side streets there. It's a bit of a walk, maybe 10-15 minutes, but it's worth it to avoid dehydration. Honestly, you could probably find something even closer if you wandered a little further down towards Man Wa Lane – it's a bit of a maze, but that’s part of the charm of the area, right? Lots of small, independent places there.
