Caritas Bianchi Lodge: Noise Levels?

fmd_good Caritas Bianchi Lodge

So, I'm planning a trip to @HongKong in a few months and booked a stay at the Caritas Bianchi Lodge because the reviews seemed decent enough and it's in a pretty convenient location. I'm a light sleep… more

Depends entirely on which side of the building your room is on, and what time of year it is. I stayed there a couple years back and it was surprisingly peaceful – facing away from the street. But I also know folks who had a rougher go of it due to street noise. If you're a real light sleeper, earplugs are probably a good idea. That's really helpful, thanks! Facing away from the street sounds ideal. I'll definitely look into emailing them beforehand – much better than showing up and dealing with unexpected noise. Earplugs are a great tip too, I always travel with a pair anyway. Appreciate the advice!

Try the little noodle shop a couple of blocks down from the main drag on Belfran Road. It's easy to miss, tucked between a tailor and a phone repair place. They don't have a fancy sign, but the locals are always lined up there. Seriously good stuff, and super cheap. You'll probably see more locals than tourists there. Best bet is to go early before they sell out.

Oh, wow, thanks! That sounds amazing. I'm definitely checking that out. No fancy sign, huh? I love finding places like that. Early bird gets the worm, I guess! Appreciate the tip.
