Union Square's Vibe?

fmd_good Union Square

So I'm heading to Union Square in a few weeks, buzzing to finally check out this iconic spot. Heard so much about its crazy energy – the street performers, the crowds, the whole shebang. Thing is, I… more

It definitely calms down after dark compared to the daytime frenzy, but it doesn't completely die. There's still a decent amount of foot traffic, especially on weekends. You'll find some late-night eateries open, mostly smaller places rather than big chains. As for hidden bars... that's a bit tougher. Union Square itself isn't really known for its hidden bar scene; you'd probably have better luck exploring the surrounding neighborhoods like SoHo or North Beach for those. Think more casual late-night bites and less speakeasies.

Nah, it's probably just old building quirks. Hong Kong's got a lot of those, especially in older schools. Creaky floors, dodgy wiring...that sort of thing. I've never heard anything super spooky about Bishop Ford, though. Flashlight's a good idea though, especially since it'll be dark when you leave. Might need it to find your way to the car park! Don't worry too much, enjoy the play.

Yeah, that makes sense. Old buildings are definitely full of surprises! I guess I let my imagination run away with me a bit. Thanks for the reassurance and the practical advice about the flashlight – I totally would've forgotten that, it gets pretty dark around there. Looking forward to the play now, all the mystery talk nearly put me off!
