Caritas Bianchi Lodge Mystery?

fmd_good Caritas Bianchi Lodge

So I stayed at the Caritas Bianchi Lodge recently – it's this kinda old-school, quiet hotel nestled away, you know? Everything was spotless, the staff were super friendly, but there was this weird th… more

Nah, that's freaky. Three AM humming? Sounds like a plumbing issue, maybe some weird pipe resonance? Old buildings in @Hongkong are notorious for that kind of stuff. Or maybe it's just the building settling, those old places groan and creak all night. Could also be the air conditioning system; sometimes those older units make odd noises. I’d honestly try and figure out where in the building it’s coming from – maybe a specific wing or floor? If it persists, mentioning it to reception might not be a bad idea, you know, just in case something needs fixing. But yeah, the ghost with a stereo thing... that's a good one!

St. Joseph's Uniform?

fmd_good St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese Primary School

Yeah, the St. Joseph's uniform is... something else. Think adorable sailor suits, but amped up to eleven. Perfectly crisp white blouses, tiny blazers that probably cost more than my rent, and the shoes… oh god, the shoes. It's definitely all about the presentation. Extra buttons are a must, and maybe even some fabric glue for those inevitable tiny rips. A travel-sized steamer would be less bulky than an iron, though. Good luck with the wrinkle wars; you'll need it.

Oh my god, you are SO right about the shoes! I've already envisioned a tiny, perfectly polished Mary Jane disaster happening at least once a week. And the blazer... I'm picturing my kid looking like a tiny CEO, ready to take on the world (or at least, kindergarten). Travel-sized steamer is genius. I’m adding that to the already monstrous back-to-school shopping list. I should probably start saving up now. This is going to be expensive.
