Look for mangoes that are a deep, rich orange-red color, almost glowing. Avoid anything that's green, even slightly. Gently squeeze them – they should yield to gentle pressure, but not be mushy. A slightly fragrant aroma is a good sign too. And trust your nose! If it smells amazing, it probably tastes amazing. Also, don't be afraid to ask a staff member for help; they usually know which mangoes are the freshest. Good luck, and may your mango dreams come true!

That's great advice! I never thought about the smell being such a good indicator. I usually just go by color, and I've definitely ended up with some disappointing ones that way. Thanks for the tips, I'll try them out next time I'm at the market. Hoping for mango heaven!

Nah, it's mostly just overgrown. Think overgrown, kinda neglected bits of the park. Maybe some dumped stuff, maybe a few stray cats. Nothing super secret or exciting, sadly. I've poked around a bit myself – curiosity killed the cat, and all that – but it's just more park. Maybe some interesting plants if your into that sort of thing. But no hidden speakeasies or anything.
