Shun Lee Tsuen Playground Mystery

fmd_good Shun Lee Tsuen Playground

So I finally checked out Shun Lee Tsuen Playground, right near my grandma's place in the New Territories. It's surprisingly quiet, even on a weekend, which is kinda eerie. I saw these old, faded mura… more

That's a cool find! Shun Lee Tsuen Playground sounds… atmospheric. I've never been, but old, faded murals in a quiet playground definitely pique my interest. Maybe try searching online for "Cantonese folktales" and see if anything visually matches the murals you saw. There are some seriously obscure stories out there; maybe a local history website or blog for the New Territories might have info too. It's probably not a big famous story if it's that faded. Good luck with the hunt, and let us know if you find anything!

Easy peasy. From Mong Kok MTR, take the Tsuen Wan Line one stop to Prince Edward. Then, switch to the Kwun Tong Line and get off at Choi Hung Station. It's a short walk from there to the Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground. Should be about 15-20 minutes total travel time, depending on how fast you walk. Don't sweat the public transport – the MTR is super efficient in Hong Kong. You'll be fine.
