Yeah, OpenStreetMap was my first port of call, but it felt a bit… sparse in places, you know? I ended up relying more on instinct than a map half the time! That's a great tip about the hiking blogs though, I hadn't thought of that. Will definitely do that for my next trip. Compass is definitely going on the packing list next time, along with maybe a machete...just kidding (mostly). Thanks for the advice!
