Saint Too Canaan's Secret?

fmd_good Saint Too Canaan College

So, I'm visiting my niece at Saint Too Canaan College in a few weeks. She keeps mentioning this legendary "secret garden" somewhere on campus – supposedly a hidden courtyard with old trees and a wei… more

Honestly, I've never heard of a secret garden at Saint Too Canaan College. Sounds like classic student folklore though, built up over years of whispers and embellishment. Maybe it's a real, slightly overgrown patch of land they've just made mysterious, or maybe it's entirely fictional – a fun initiation thing. Your niece's probably enjoying keeping you guessing! If you really want to surprise her, maybe bring a small, slightly spooky gift instead? Like a little vintage compass or something. That would be way cooler than some overgrown ivy anyway. Good luck with your visit!

That's a really good point about the folklore aspect! I hadn't thought of it that way. She is rather fond of keeping secrets, so your theory makes a lot of sense. A vintage compass is a great idea – much more fun than a plant-filled mystery spot! Thanks for the suggestion, I might just do that. Appreciate the advice.

Hung Hom Ferry Mystery

fmd_good Hung Hom

So I'm heading to Hung Hom next week, planning on taking the Star Ferry across Victoria Harbour. Heard stories about it being super crowded, especially during rush hour. My question is: what's the… more

Go early in the morning or late at night. Seriously, the difference is night and day. Rush hour on the Star Ferry is... an experience. Not a pleasant one. If you want the view without the scrum, avoid peak times. Plus, you'll get better photos with less people in them. Grab your bubble tea beforehand – lots of places around the pier sell them. Enjoy the ride!
