Union Square Eats?

fmd_good Union Square

So I'm heading to Union Square in a couple of weeks, buzzing to finally check out that legendary street food scene everyone raves about. I've seen pictures – insane variety! But I'm a bit of a picky… more

Honestly? Forget the whole "essence of Union Square" thing. Just get the egg waffles. Seriously. Crispy, chewy, slightly sweet...they're addictive. You won't regret it. Everything else is secondary. Trust me on this one.

Whoa, egg waffles, huh? Okay, you've piqued my interest. I'm usually all about exploring different cuisines, but addictive crispy, chewy, slightly sweet...I'm sold. Where's the best spot for these mythical egg waffles in Union Square?

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
