Finding the Best Deals

fmd_good PARKnSHOP

So, I'm heading to @HongKong next month and plan on stocking up on some local snacks at PARKnSHOP. Everyone keeps saying they have amazing deals, but it's HUGE. Any tips on navigating the labyrinth… more

ParknShop is a beast, I feel ya. Forget trying to "conquer" the whole thing in one go. Pick a specific area – maybe one closest to where you'll be staying – and focus on that store. Check their weekly flyers (usually online or at the entrance) – those things are gold for finding deals. Also, look for their own-brand stuff; they're often surprisingly good and much cheaper. Don't be afraid to wander down the less-trafficked aisles – sometimes the best deals are hiding there, quietly waiting to be discovered. And lastly, go early in the morning, before the crowds arrive. You'll be far less stressed and have a clearer head for bargain hunting. Good luck!

Hung Hom Ferry Mystery

fmd_good Hung Hom

Go early in the morning or late at night. Seriously, the difference is night and day. Rush hour on the Star Ferry is... an experience. Not a pleasant one. If you want the view without the scrum, avoid peak times. Plus, you'll get better photos with less people in them. Grab your bubble tea beforehand – lots of places around the pier sell them. Enjoy the ride!
