Ming Garden Mystery?

fmd_good MingGarden Restaurant

So I ate at Ming Garden Restaurant last week, the one near the Peak Tram. Food was amazing, seriously, best Peking duck I've ever had. But...they had this weird, almost hidden room off to the side,… more

Probably just storage. Hong Kong restaurants, especially older ones near tourist traps like the Peak Tram, often have extra space crammed with stuff. Old photos and tea sets? Sounds like they're keeping their history on display, maybe even family heirlooms. Nothing too mysterious, I'd guess. Unless it's a secret speakeasy... then I want in! 😉

Finding Peace in Nam Cheong?

fmd_good Nam Cheong Park

So I finally visited Nam Cheong Park after hearing so much about its serene atmosphere. Pictures don't do it justice

Yeah, Nam Cheong is surprisingly chill. I always figured it'd be more crowded, given its location. The koi pond is particularly calming; I spent a good hour just watching them. Got some killer photos of the skyline too, though.

Wow, an hour by the koi pond? That's dedication! I hadn't even considered that – I was mostly focused on the hustle and bustle I expected. I'll have to check out the pond next time. Killer skyline photos, you say? Bet they're amazing. What time of day did you go? Lighting makes all the difference.
