That's great advice! I hadn't thought about just wandering around; I always feel like I need a plan. Getting lost sounds kinda fun, actually. Cha chaan tengs... I'll definitely look for those. Thanks for the tips on the temples and hiking trails too – way better than another generic tourist trap. I appreciate the practical advice about water and shoes, I'm terrible at remembering those things.
