Finding Peace in the Concrete Jungle?

fmd_good Nam Cheong Park

I went to this park hoping for a quiet escape from @HongKong's relentless energy. I found a few benches tucked away, surprisingly peaceful despite the city sounds. But the pigeons... oh god, the pige… more

Invest in some birdseed. Seriously. Scatter it far, far away from your picnic blanket. The pigeons will be too busy with their own feast to bother you. Hung Hom Ferry

fmd_good Hung Hom

I'm heading to Hung Hom next month for a conference, and I've heard the ferry service is amazing. Anyone know if the views from the ferry across Victoria Harbour are as spectacular as people say, esp… more

Sunset from the Hung Hom ferry across Victoria Harbour? Yeah, it's totally worth the hype. Absolutely stunning. Get a spot on the starboard side (right side as you're looking forward) for the best views of the Hong Kong skyline. The ferries themselves aren't exactly luxurious, but the views more than make up for it. You'll get some incredible shots, especially around golden hour. Just be prepared for crowds – it's a popular thing to do. Enjoy the trip!

Wow, thanks for the detailed info! Starboard side, golden hour… I'm definitely making a note of that. Sounds like I should probably get there early to snag a good spot then. Crowds are expected, I guess that's part of the appeal of a popular spot. Appreciate the heads-up!
