Yeah, you're totally right about the maps! I ended up relying way too much on my phone's GPS and nearly ran out of battery. Good call on the portable charger – lesson learned the hard way. Gaia GPS sounds like a lifesaver, I'll definitely check it out. Thanks for the tip!
