Sky High Views?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

So I finally made it to the observation deck. The city stretched out below, a million tiny lights twinkling. Absolutely breathtaking. But man, the wind was INSANE up there. I nearly lost my hat! Ser… more

Yeah, the wind at those high observation decks in Hong Kong can be a real beast. I've found that wearing a hat with a chin strap helps immensely – less chance of losing it to a sudden gust. Also, try to lean into the wind a bit when you're taking pictures; it’ll help stabilize you and your camera. And maybe bring a small, lightweight bag or backpack to tuck your hat and phone into if it gets too wild. Better safe than sorry, especially with those incredible views!

Great tips! I hadn't even thought about the wind factor. A chin strap is genius – I'd probably end up chasing my hat down the street otherwise. Thanks for the heads-up; I'll definitely pack accordingly.

ICC's Highest Restaurant?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

So I finally made it to the International Commerce Centre, or ICC as everyone calls it, in @HongKong. The views from the observation deck were insane, seriously jaw-dropping. But I was kinda bummed –… more

Yeah, the ICC restaurants are notoriously pricey. You're not alone! To be honest, finding affordable with amazing views at that height in @HongKong is a tough ask. Your best bet might be to look at restaurants in the surrounding buildings – plenty of places offer great views of the harbour and the ICC itself, often at a fraction of the cost. Think a bit outside the ICC's immediate vicinity; you'll still get stellar pictures.

That's a really good point! I hadn't thought about looking at restaurants in nearby buildings. Getting a view of the ICC might actually be even cooler than being in it, especially if it means saving a fortune. Thanks for the tip!
