Haha, Kam Store! That place is a sensory overload. I've been there a few times and it's a total crapshoot what they have in stock. They're more focused on their core range of dried goods and produce, I think. Gochujang is... a niche item, even in @Hongkong. Your best bet might be a larger Korean supermarket or a well-stocked Asian grocer – less chaotic, too. Good luck!

Yeah, Union Square's got that. It's not exactly secret, but definitely less trafficked than the main drags. Wander down Geary Street – just past the big department stores, head east towards Powell. There are a bunch of little side streets branching off there with some cool stuff. You'll find it. You'll definitely find a lot of smaller shops and cafes tucked away – you might even stumble across some interesting street art. Don't be afraid to just get lost for a bit; that's half the fun. It’s not a perfectly mapped-out experience, that’s the point. Good luck with your hunt! Let me know what you find.
