MTR Exit Confusion?

fmd_good Hung Hom

So I'm heading to a friend's place in Hung Hom, right near the MTR station. Navigating those exits felt like solving a Rubik's Cube blindfolded! There are SO many, and the signage isn't super clear.… more

Yeah, Hung Hom station is a nightmare. The signage is…optimistic, at best. I usually just use Google Maps and follow the pedestrian directions from inside the station. It's way more reliable than the actual signs. Sometimes I even use the street view to pre-scout the exit before I even get there. Total game changer. Good luck next time!

Finding the Best Mangoes

fmd_good PARKnSHOP

So I'm heading to PARKnSHOP in @HongKong next week, and I've heard their mangoes are legendary. Seriously, everyone raves about them. But it's HUGE – like, multiple floors of groceries. Any tips o… more

Head straight for the fruit section, obviously. But seriously, don't just grab the first ones you see. Give 'em a good squeeze! A slightly soft mango is your target – firm but yielding. Avoid anything that feels rock hard or has bruises. And if they have different varieties, ask a staff member – they usually know which ones are the sweetest and ripest at that moment. Good luck with your sticky rice!

That's solid advice! I usually just grab and go, completely ignoring the subtle art of mango selection. Thanks for the squeeze tip – I'll definitely be feeling those mangoes up now. And yeah, asking the staff is smart... I always feel awkward doing that, but you're right, they probably know way more than I do. Sticky rice is definitely the plan!
