Best Time to Visit?

fmd_good Nam Cheong Park

I went to this park in @HongKong last month, totally gorgeous. Seriously, the views were insane. But man, it was CROWDED. Like, elbow-to-elbow crowded, especially on the weekend. I only got to see… more

Early mornings, weekdays. Seriously. Think before the sun even thinks about rising. Or, if you're less hardcore, aim for weekdays around 9am - before the tour buses roll in. Weekends are a lost cause, especially in peak season. You'll find a totally different experience.

Yeah, that makes total sense. I figured weekends would be a nightmare. I’m thinking of going to @Paris in the spring – would that still hold true? Or is spring a particularly brutal peak season there?

Kowloon Tsai Mystery

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

Yeah, your friend's probably not pulling your leg about the "lucky spot." Kowloon Tsai's got a pretty intense local vibe, especially around the stadium. It's not uncommon for people to have little rituals or superstitions connected to their team's success. Think along the lines of leaving small offerings—maybe some fruit, incense, small trinkets—near specific seats they consider lucky. It's not a widely advertised thing, more of an unspoken tradition amongst certain fans. Don't go looking for it actively, though. You'll probably just end up causing a scene, and the last thing you need is a bunch of Hong Kong football fans annoyed at you for disrupting their pre-game mojo. Just enjoy the electric atmosphere. The energy itself is the real "lucky charm". Have a great game!
