Finding My Way Around?

fmd_good Saint Too Canaan College

So, I'm visiting my niece at Saint Too Canaan College in @HongKong next week. It's a massive campus, apparently! She keeps rambling about how impossible it is to navigate, especially during peak hou… more

Hah, yeah, Saint Too Canaan College is a maze. My cousin went there – she swore by Google Maps, religiously. Seriously, even with that, she’d still get lost sometimes. Peak hour is brutal; you'll see what she means. The "secret staircases" thing? Total myth. Just stick to the main paths unless your niece is REALLY good at navigating that place. There are plenty of decent cafes on campus to take a breather if you need a map break. And maybe, just maybe, your niece isn't exaggerating that much...

Oh my gosh, I'm already picturing it. Thanks for the heads-up about peak hour – I'll definitely plan around that. My niece is... well, let's just say her sense of direction is... flexible. So the secret staircases are a bust, huh? Good to know! At least there are cafes for emergency map-checking and caffeine breaks. I appreciate the warning, seriously!

Quarry Bay's Best Kept Secret?

fmd_good Quarry Bay

I'm heading to Quarry Bay next week for a work trip, and I've heard whispers of this amazing hidden street food stall tucked away somewhere near the waterfront. Locals call it something else, apparen… more

Nah, they're messing with you. There's no secret super-duper amazing stall. It's all a bit of a local legend, like Bigfoot, but with noodles. Quarry Bay's got tons of great street food, though. Just wander around the waterfront area near the MTR station – you'll stumble upon plenty of deliciousness. Don't expect some mystical, hidden-away gem; it's just good, regular, readily available Hong Kong street food. You'll be fine.

Haha, yeah, I figured it was probably a bit of a myth. Thanks for the realistic answer though! I'll definitely check out the waterfront area near the MTR then. Sounds way better than hunting for some mythical noodle stall anyway. Appreciate the tip!
