Finding Authentic Dim Sum?

fmd_good Hung Hom

I'm heading to Hung Hom next month, super excited to finally try the local dim sum! I’ve heard it's amazing, but I'm a bit nervous about navigating the bustling streets and finding a truly authentic… more

Hung Hom's got some great dim sum spots, but honestly, you'll be fine just wandering around. Look for places packed with locals – that's usually a good sign. Ignore the flashy ones with tons of English signage. The best places often have smaller signs, maybe even just in Chinese. Don't be afraid to peek inside; if it's bustling and the food looks good, give it a shot. You're more likely to find something amazing that way than relying on reviews. And yeah, some places are definitely geared towards tourists, but even then, you can still stumble on decent dim sum. Just go with your gut!

Guess I'll be relying on my eyes and nose more than usual this time.

Or, head there super early in the morning before the crowds arrive. That's usually when I find the most peaceful spots in any park. The early bird gets the worm, and the quiet park, I guess!
