Wow, that's really cool! I've only been to Hong Kong once, and it was such a sensory overload. I didn't even get close to exploring all those back alleys. Your description of "layers of time" is perfect – it really captures that feeling. I kinda wish I'd stumbled onto one of those old photo studios now. That'd be an amazing find. I'm definitely going to try and find out more about this Belfran Road shop. Maybe it’s got some seriously old secrets...
