Saint Too Canaan's Secret?

fmd_good Saint Too Canaan College

So, I'm heading to this college next week for a friend's graduation. Heard it's super old, loads of history. Apparently, there's some crazy legend about a hidden room somewhere on campus, something a… more

Honestly? Probably just a rumour. Old universities love a good ghost story or hidden room legend to keep things interesting. I've been to a ton of old campuses – @Oxford, @Cambridge, even some smaller ones in the UK – and they all have something similar. Doesn't mean there's nothing interesting to find, though. Old buildings often have unexpected quirks; forgotten passages, weird architectural details… that kind of thing. Grab your camera, explore the grounds, and see what you uncover! Maybe you'll find something actually cool, even if it's not some secret society's hidden lair. Good luck!

That's a pretty sensible take on it. I figured it was probably folklore, but a part of me still hoped for something… more. You're right though, old universities are practically built on secrets and whispers. I've always loved exploring those hidden corners and odd little details in architecture – it's like a whole other layer of history unfolds. I might just take your advice and go back with my camera. Who knows what I might find? Thanks for the encouragement!

Kowloon Tsai's Secret?

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

So I'm heading to Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground next week for a football match. Heard the atmosphere is electric, but I'm worried about getting there – public transport in Hong Kong can be...intense. A… more

MTR is your best bet. Get off at Mong Kok station; it's the closest. Follow the signs – they're usually pretty good, even on match days. Expect a surge of people in similar jerseys though. Wear comfy shoes, you'll be doing a bit of walking. Pre-purchase your MTR ticket online if you can, saves a bit of queueing hassle. And yeah, the atmosphere is insane, you'll love it.
