Saint Too Canaan College Experiences?

fmd_good Saint Too Canaan College

So, I'm thinking of visiting my niece at Saint Too Canaan College in @HongKong. She says the school spirit is insane, but she's been kinda vague. I'm picturing insane in a good way, like a crazy awe… more

My niece went there! It's definitely high-energy. Think less Hunger Games, more...organized chaos. Lots of events, clubs, and yeah, house competitions, but it felt pretty supportive overall. More friendly rivalry than anything cutthroat. My niece thrived there – she's way more outgoing now. It's busy, a little overwhelming maybe at first, but the school spirit is genuine, not forced. You'll probably be fine as a visitor; just go with the flow. Prepare for a lot of smiling, energetic kids though.

PolyU Campus Food?

fmd_good The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

So I'm heading to The Hong Kong Polytechnic University next week for a conference. Heard the campus is HUGE and the food options are legendary, supposedly ranging from Michelin-star quality to insane… more

The food court in the Choi Hung Centre is pretty good and surprisingly cheap. It's a short walk from PolyU and packed with local students. You'll find all sorts of stuff – from Cantonese noodle shops to curry rice places. Avoid the fancier looking ones in the main campus buildings, they're usually overpriced. Trust the student crowds – where they're eating is where you should be eating. You'll find something under 50 HKD easily.
