Great advice! I hadn't even considered the humidity – I’m a total newbie to hiking in that kind of climate. Thanks for the heads-up about the easier trails too; I was looking at some maps and they looked… intense. I’ll definitely check out those local hiking groups on Facebook. Appreciate the help!
