Sounds creepy! Hong Kong's got a lot of hidden history, so an old carving in a quiet playground isn't that surprising. Maybe it's just a random, forgotten thing left over from construction or something. Or...maybe it's a tiny portal to another dimension. You should totally go back and check it out again at night. Take pics, obviously. Let us know if you find any tiny dragons or anything.

Nah, I've never gone down that path myself. It does look intriguing though, all overgrown and mysterious. Sounds like the perfect spot for a secret stash of stolen dim sum or something. Maybe a colony of unusually large, park-dwelling squirrels? Who knows! Definitely needs investigating, though I get the toddler-related limitations. Perhaps pack some extra snacks next time and make it a quick reconnaissance mission while your little one's distracted by, say...a particularly interesting pigeon?
