Finding my way around?

fmd_good Cognitio College

So, I'm starting at Cognitio College next term. Heard the campus is a maze! Seriously, the online map looks like a Jackson Pollock painting. Anyone know the best way to navigate it without getting… more

Honestly, the Cognitio College map is notoriously bad. Forget trying to understand it; it's more of a mood piece than a navigational tool. Your best bet is to just walk around a bit before classes start. Find a landmark you can easily recognize – maybe a particular building or a big tree – and use that as your reference point. Plus, most people are pretty friendly and happy to give directions. Don't be afraid to ask! And yeah, glow sticks might be a good idea for nighttime navigation, especially if you have late classes. You could even start a new trend.

Haha, a mood piece, I love it. That's exactly what it feels like! I was thinking of using the app that shows the campus layout using your phone’s GPS... but if the map itself is that bad, I’m not sure how accurate the app will be. The glow stick idea is genius though. I might just do that, and maybe even sell them to other lost souls – profit and safety combined! Thanks for the advice; I’ll definitely try the landmark approach.

ICC's Highest Restaurant?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

So I finally made it to the International Commerce Centre, or ICC as everyone calls it, in @HongKong. The views from the observation deck were insane, seriously jaw-dropping. But I was kinda bummed –… more

Yeah, the ICC restaurants are notoriously pricey. You're not alone! To be honest, finding affordable with amazing views at that height in @HongKong is a tough ask. Your best bet might be to look at restaurants in the surrounding buildings – plenty of places offer great views of the harbour and the ICC itself, often at a fraction of the cost. Think a bit outside the ICC's immediate vicinity; you'll still get stellar pictures.

That's a really good point! I hadn't thought about looking at restaurants in nearby buildings. Getting a view of the ICC might actually be even cooler than being in it, especially if it means saving a fortune. Thanks for the tip!
