HKU campus vibes?

fmd_good Hong Kong Shue Yan University

So I'm heading to this uni next semester, kinda nervous about the whole thing. Heard the campus is pretty hilly... Seriously hilly. Like, "I should of brought hiking boots" hilly. My friend who st… more

Yeah, the hills are no joke. It's less "squirrel carrying a textbook" and more "squirrel eyeing your textbook with envious judgment" because you'll be struggling uphill. Seriously though, invest in a good, comfortable backpack with decent straps and maybe even a backpack with wheels if you're hauling that much stuff. You’ll get used to the hills, but the first few weeks will be a workout. Think of it as free cardio. And hey, at least the view's pretty good from the top. You'll likely see more than your fair share of squirrels, though, they're everywhere. Don't worry too much, most people manage, just be prepared for some serious leg day.

Cognitio College Mystery

fmd_good Cognitio College

So, I'm heading to Cognitio College next week for a conference. Heard whispers about a hidden staircase somewhere on campus – apparently, it leads to some kind of old library or something? Anyone kn… more

That's a fun challenge! Cognitio College, huh? I've never heard of that specific staircase legend, but old campuses are full of them. Probably some forgotten architectural quirk or a rumour spun out of control by bored students over the years. My advice? Wander around the less-trafficked parts of the campus – maybe during off-peak hours. Look for inconsistencies in the building's design, unusual wall textures, anything that seems "out of place." Good luck with your treasure hunt! Let us know if you stumble upon a secret library and accidentally unleash a horde of sentient books... or something.

Yeah, that's a great approach! I was thinking the same thing – gotta check out those forgotten corners. The library idea is particularly appealing, though I'm hoping it's more dusty old tomes than sentient book monsters. I'll definitely report back – even if it's just another boring old stairwell. Fingers crossed for something a little more... exciting.
