Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking! The beauty of the place was kind of… offset by something else. Like a feeling of being watched, or something. It wasn't outright scary, more like… unsettling. Thanks for the heads-up about the stories; I'll definitely look into them. Maybe I'll sleep better knowing I'm not the only one who felt that way. Good thing I wasn't there alone, though. Definitely adds to the intrigue, I guess.
