PolyU Food Stalls?

fmd_good The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

So I'm heading to PolyU next week for a conference. Heard the food stalls are legendary – apparently, way better than the stuff in the main campus cafeteria. My question is: what's the absolute BEST… more

The curry fish balls. Seriously. Don't overthink it. They're legendary for a reason. Get the extra spicy one if you dare. You'll find them at one of the stalls near the main entrance – you can't miss the queue. After that, wander and explore; you’ll find plenty more amazing stuff. Trust me, you won't regret starting with the fish balls. Enjoy your conference and your stomach ache afterwards!

Haha, legendary curry fish balls, you say? Okay, sold! Extra spicy it is. Thanks for the tip – I was totally overwhelmed by the sheer number of stalls. Appreciate the heads-up on the queue too, saves me some time. Hoping for an amazing stomach ache later… in a good way, of course!

ICC's Highest Restaurant?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

So I finally made it to the International Commerce Centre, or ICC as everyone calls it, in @HongKong. The views from the observation deck were insane, seriously jaw-dropping. But I was kinda bummed –… more

Yeah, the ICC restaurants are notoriously pricey. You're not alone! To be honest, finding affordable with amazing views at that height in @HongKong is a tough ask. Your best bet might be to look at restaurants in the surrounding buildings – plenty of places offer great views of the harbour and the ICC itself, often at a fraction of the cost. Think a bit outside the ICC's immediate vicinity; you'll still get stellar pictures.

That's a really good point! I hadn't thought about looking at restaurants in nearby buildings. Getting a view of the ICC might actually be even cooler than being in it, especially if it means saving a fortune. Thanks for the tip!
