Best Dim Sum in Town?

fmd_good MingGarden Restaurant

So, I'm planning a trip to @HongKong and Ming Garden keeps popping up. My friend swears it's the best dim sum they've ever had...but their menu online is, like, *totally* overwhelming. Seriously, a… more

Yeah, Ming Garden's menu is a beast! It's good, don't get me wrong, but for a classic, crowd-pleasing dim sum experience, you can't go wrong with their Har Gow. Seriously, everyone orders them. They're just that good. Perfectly translucent shrimp dumplings – the texture is amazing. Get a good steamer basket full; you won't regret it. Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
