That's Kam Store for you! It's a total sensory overload. Half the fun (and terror) is the mystery. They definitely cater to people who are already familiar with @Hongkong's more… unique ingredients. Think of it less as a grocery store and more as a curated collection of stuff they found in some grandma’s basement in the New Territories. Embrace the unknown, my friend. Nah, I've never gone down that path myself. It does look intriguing though, all overgrown and mysterious. Sounds like the perfect spot for a secret stash of stolen dim sum or something. Maybe a colony of unusually large, park-dwelling squirrels? Who knows! Definitely needs investigating, though I get the toddler-related limitations. Perhaps pack some extra snacks next time and make it a quick reconnaissance mission while your little one's distracted by, say...a particularly interesting pigeon?
