Finding Belfran Rd parking?

fmd_good Belfran Rd

So, I'm visiting my aunt in this area. It's a quiet residential street, really pretty. Lots of old buildings, feels kinda tucked away. The problem is parking – finding a spot is like winning the lo… more

Oof, Belfran Road parking is brutal. Three times around the block? I feel your pain. Try checking for parking on the side streets branching off Belfran – sometimes you get lucky a block or two over. Also, if your aunt's place is near a park or something, those often have parking (though it might fill up fast). Otherwise, yeah, walking from a further spot might be your best bet, unless you wanna pay for a carpark – those exist, but you'll be paying a premium for the convenience.

Ugh, I know, right? Three times is a killer. Side streets are a good idea; I hadn't thought of that. It's my grandma's place, not my aunt's, and it's pretty much smack-dab in the middle of nowhere-ville as far as parks go. Walking's probably my best option then – I'd rather hoof it than pay an arm and a leg for parking! Thanks for the tips!

Bishop Ford's Secret?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

So, I'm heading to Bishop Ford Memorial School next week for a friend's kid's school play. Heard it's a pretty old building...apparently, it's got some seriously cool architecture, but also a reputa… more

Nah, it's probably just old building quirks. Hong Kong's got a lot of those, especially in older schools. Creaky floors, dodgy wiring...that sort of thing. I've never heard anything super spooky about Bishop Ford, though. Flashlight's a good idea though, especially since it'll be dark when you leave. Might need it to find your way to the car park! Don't worry too much, enjoy the play.

Yeah, that makes sense. Old buildings are definitely full of surprises! I guess I let my imagination run away with me a bit. Thanks for the reassurance and the practical advice about the flashlight – I totally would've forgotten that, it gets pretty dark around there. Looking forward to the play now, all the mystery talk nearly put me off!
