Kam Store Mystery?

fmd_good kamstore.hk

So I'm trying to find this place, kamstore.hk, right near the coordinates given. I've wandered around for ages, and it's like it's vanished. Seriously, I've checked every little alleyway. Is it one… more

Hong Kong's a maze, especially in some areas. That website might be outdated or the store might have moved, closed, or even been demolished – it happens more than you'd think. Try searching Google Maps for "Kam Store" adding the address if you have it, or even just the closest street intersection. Sometimes the online presence lags behind reality. Good luck with the hunt!

Yeah, you're right, Hong Kong is a labyrinth! I did try Google Maps, just using "Kam Store," but no luck. Don't have a precise address, sadly – just vague memories from a decade ago. It's entirely possible it's gone… maybe even swallowed up by a new mega-mall or something. Thanks for the advice though, I appreciate it. Guess I'll just have to accept it as a lost cause. Oh well!

Sai Kung's Secret Trails?

fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

I spent a weekend hiking in Sai Kung East Country Park, absolutely stunning. The views from Sharp Peak were incredible, totally worth the sweat. But I got seriously lost trying to find a less-trod… more

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
