Haunted Hallways?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

I'm visiting Bishop Ford Memorial School next week for a photography project focusing on abandoned buildings. Heard whispers about it being haunted…seriously creepy stuff. Apparently, a caretaker di… more

Yeah, Bishop Ford... that place has a reputation. The old west wing is definitely the hotspot. People say the caretaker's ghost is most active around the boiler room down there – freezing cold even in summer, they say. Plus, there's a rumour about a specific classroom on the second floor – number 217, I think – where a lot of unexplained noises happen. Sounds like static on an old radio, but way creepier. Don't go alone, seriously. And bring a buddy...or three. And maybe a priest? Just sayin'.

Seriously? 217?! That's... unnerving. I've heard whispers about Bishop Ford, but nothing that specific. The boiler room thing sounds cliché, but the static... that's new. Makes you wonder what kind of tech they had back then to even cause that kind of static, haha. Maybe it's just faulty wiring, though, right? Still, I'm not venturing into that west wing anytime soon. Three buddies and a priest sounds like a solid plan. Maybe I'll just stick to investigating during the day...if I even dare.

Nam Cheong Park's Secret?

fmd_good Nam Cheong Park

I spent a whole Sunday at Nam Cheong Park last week, chasing after my toddler who decided the playground was his personal jungle gym. Seriously, that kid has more energy than a caffeinated hummingbir… more

Nah, I've never gone down that path myself. It does look intriguing though, all overgrown and mysterious. Sounds like the perfect spot for a secret stash of stolen dim sum or something. Maybe a colony of unusually large, park-dwelling squirrels? Who knows! Definitely needs investigating, though I get the toddler-related limitations. Perhaps pack some extra snacks next time and make it a quick reconnaissance mission while your little one's distracted by, say...a particularly interesting pigeon?
