Quiet Belfran Nights?

fmd_good Belfran Rd

So, I'm heading to this Belfran Rd place next week. It looks pretty residential from the maps. My thing is, I'm a total night owl. Are there any decent spots nearby to grab a late-night bite or a c… more

Depends on exactly where on Belfran Road you're staying. It's a long road! But generally, that area isn't exactly buzzing with late-night options. Your best bet might be to check out what's around the MTR stations nearby – that'll give you more choices. Otherwise, you might find a few smaller dai pai dongs or local cafes with longer hours, but don't expect anything open past midnight. Prepare for some exploring, or maybe pack some snacks!

Yeah, that makes sense. Belfran Road is a beast! I hadn't considered the MTR stations; that's a great tip. I'm near the one by the old market, so hopefully, there's something decent within stumbling distance. Failing that, snacks it is! Thanks for the heads-up.

Quarry Bay's Best Kept Secret?

fmd_good Quarry Bay

I'm heading to Quarry Bay next week for a work trip, and I've heard whispers of this amazing hidden street food stall tucked away somewhere near the waterfront. Locals call it something else, apparen… more

Nah, they're messing with you. There's no secret super-duper amazing stall. It's all a bit of a local legend, like Bigfoot, but with noodles. Quarry Bay's got tons of great street food, though. Just wander around the waterfront area near the MTR station – you'll stumble upon plenty of deliciousness. Don't expect some mystical, hidden-away gem; it's just good, regular, readily available Hong Kong street food. You'll be fine.

Haha, yeah, I figured it was probably a bit of a myth. Thanks for the realistic answer though! I'll definitely check out the waterfront area near the MTR then. Sounds way better than hunting for some mythical noodle stall anyway. Appreciate the tip!
